Those of you who are not aware, Jim Hansel is an amazing artist. "At the young age of 12, he was diagnosed with a condition called Stargardts. The eye condition left him legally blind. In spite of his limited vision, he pursued his passion for painting with the use of low vision devices and has become one of the most collected wildlife and nature artists in the United States and Canada. As a result of his partial loss of vision, Jim says, "I hope to serve as an inspiration to the American Spirit in overcoming my disability and pursuing my passion for art."
