I recently exhibited at a big licensing show in New York called Surtex. It was my first time in New York! I really could feel the energy and creativity all around me! It was an incredible business-building opportunity for me and Jim Hansel Editions in the art & design world...from exciting exhibits and networking events, to an information-packed conference program. After the first day my wife and I and our licensing department attended a fun-filled opening night party in Battery Park with the Statue of Liberty as a back drop…it was an amazing night!
I was among hundreds of designers from around the world. Selling and Licensing original art and design is a big division of Jim Hansel Editions. I had the opportunity to market my collection to manufacturers of products for home, stationery, giftware, puzzles, toys, publishing, and more. I’m happy to say that there will be many products coming out in the future with a number of my images on them! Stay tuned!
